Live class screen
A timeline of apps with timings, a running clock that tells you if you're over, presenter full screen, and clicker and keyboard control.
Plan your class once, then run it live from one screen. Students join on their phones in seconds and take part in activities, word clouds, polls and class games, earning points and badges as they go. Attendance, results and a recap are recorded for you.
The class doesn't start when you walk in, and it doesn't end when you leave.
Set short prep tasks for the week: something to read, watch or listen to, a short answer, a quick quiz or a poll. Students sign in to their class hub with a PIN and complete them for points before the class starts. You see who did what, and can put the poll results or answers on screen to open the class.
Step through your plan with Next, a keyboard or your clicker. Apps open one at a time, phones follow along, and every answer, vote and game lands on the big screen as it happens. Pop up a timer, a question window or a scoreboard whenever the moment calls for it.
Students get a recap of what happened, with their own answers, points and notes, plus any after-class tasks. Anyone who missed the class can catch up. You get attendance, ratings, results and a full CSV export.
Instead of five tools and five join codes, one class link does it all.
A timeline of apps with timings, a running clock that tells you if you're over, presenter full screen, and clicker and keyboard control.
Break a task into short activities with links and prompts to copy. Reveal each when the room is ready; latecomers can catch up.
Word clouds that group the same answers, live polls, Q&A, scales and rankings. Show results, or hide them until the vote closes.
A game-show quiz on every phone, with lifelines, anchors and a live ladder on the big screen. Import questions from a CSV.
Buzzer, fastest fingers, closest wins, true or false, reaction race and tug of war. Points go straight to the class total.
Attendance, games, quizzes and tasks all earn points, and badges mark what students achieve. A scoreboard on every phone, and on the big screen with one tap.
Students check in by signing in. On-time arrivals earn full points, tapering with lateness. Mark excused absences and fix records.
Each student signs in with their ID and a personal PIN to see prep tasks, join the live class and review past weeks.
Ludo, the class bot, answers students' short questions about the activity on screen in 100 words or fewer, and gives feedback on their docs without writing them. Turn it off for quizzes and games, and see every question.
Students write in docs with headings, lists and tables during class, saved with the recap so they're there when they revise.
Students can message you, and you can message or ping the students you choose. Put the class into groups at random, mixed or by hand.
Students write questions ahead of time and upvote each other's. When you reach that app, the top questions are waiting.
Attendees can quietly ping each other to say they'd like to talk. During the break, matched pairs are shown on screen.
Upload a PDF and present it page by page as phones follow. YouTube plays embedded on the big screen.
Run the class from your phone while you walk around, or give a teaching assistant a link to control it from the side.
Climb the ladder puts your questions on every phone at once. Each student climbs at their own pace, with 50:50, phone a friend and ask the audience. A wrong answer drops them back to their last anchor. What they bank becomes class points.
Students see only what's happening now, with a big, clear button for whatever they need to do next. If they arrive late, they can catch up on what they missed. More for students.
Scan the QR code or type the class code. No app, no account to create, nothing to download.
Turning up on time, joining in and finishing tasks all earn points, with a live scoreboard to climb.
A docs page on the phone during class, saved with the class recap so it's there when they revise.
A pixel-art side-scroller where class points become coins for upgrades. Points never go down; the game just makes them fun.
What's live today, and the next pieces on the way.
Build a week from apps, copy a plan to another class, and start from templates.
Run the class with simulated students before the real one, and see exactly what they'll see.
Trends by week show attendance and who might be slipping, through to each student's report card.
Automatic daily backups that you can download or restore from Settings.
A full class report as CSV: who came, when, their answers, points and contact requests. Recaps download as PDF.
Upload the week's readings and Ludo drafts the class for you to adjust.
Attendance and points straight into Moodle, Canvas or Brightspace.
Bring your existing slides across without exporting to PDF first.
Class data lives on the deployment your classes run on and is never sold or shared for advertising. Students take part with a student ID and a PIN, with no social logins or tracking. Ask Ludo, the class bot, is optional and off until a lecturer turns it on; when it's on, questions are sent to Anthropic's API to be answered. You can export or delete your data at any time.
No. Students use the web browser on their phone or laptop. They scan the QR code on the screen, or go to the join page and type the class code.
Yes. Page Down and Page Up (what most clickers send) move the class forward and back, and the arrow keys work too. The "start show" button switches full screen on and off.

Students earn points for arriving on time, taking part in activities and games, and completing tasks. Attendance is recorded when they sign in, and you can mark excused absences or fix records afterwards.
It's currently in a pilot with a small number of classes, and free for students. Get in touch if you'd like to use it in yours.
Yes. Share a helper link and they can move the class on, run timers and answer help calls from their own device, without a lecturer account. The link stops working when the class ends.
No. Ludo is an optional class bot (built on Anthropic's Claude) that stays off until you switch it on for a class. Answers are 100 words or fewer, each student has a limit per class, you choose which apps it's available in, and you can see every question asked.
Set up a class, add a few apps and run a test run with simulated students in a few minutes.
